Cari’s roots in a tight-knit, middle-class family provided the support she would need to step into her purpose as a financial advisor. Her dad, a Navy veteran, and her mom, a nurse, instilled the importance of faith and education early on. Church, school, and service were her foundation. She was a naturally driven and focused student with early dreams of attending Harvard and becoming a pediatrician. Life took a different turn, and after earning her degree in health science, Cari entered the workforce, ready to build something meaningful. She spent years in the mortgage industry and corporate recruiting, developing strong communication skills and a passion for helping people navigate high-stakes decisions. However, it wasn’t until she encountered the world of financial advising that everything clicked.

Cari saw how many people were making major financial decisions without truly understanding their options—and how often they were treated like numbers rather than supported. That didn’t sit right with her, so Cari set out to become an independent, holistic financial advisor and built Fruitful Financial Planning, a practice that prioritized ethics, education, and personal connection. Along the way, she encountered her share of roadblocks, but through it all, she stayed anchored in her mission: to help people feel informed, empowered, and cared for.

Today, Cari approaches every client conversation like it’s a friend sitting across the table. She listens first, teaches with patience, and makes recommendations only when they genuinely serve the person in front of her. Whether walking someone through a complex policy or simply offering reassurance, Cari is known for her honesty, warmth, and willingness to go the extra mile.
